Anne Zimanski

Hi, I'm Anne. I'm a published illustrator, and have been working as a freelance artist for almost 15 years. In that time I have illustrated dozens of books in a variety of styles, and worked on all kinds of creative projects big and small. From portraits, to product design, to medical illustration and more.

My main focus these days is children's book illustration. I work in digital and watercolor, and I always strive to use color and lighting in interesting ways. I also love to create atmospheric landscapes, and can work in simple or more realistic styles

 

For self-publishing clients, I offer a full service process to design and illustrate the entire print-ready book layout.

I also design trade books, and can design both the covers and the full interior layout. I have experience designing everything from simple paperback novels, to specialty hardcover coffee table books with dust Jackets and embossing.

I live in northern Michigan with my husband and two daughters, and am constantly inspired by the natural beauty of the Great Lakes.
